Controlled Power
The MOON 761 is a stereo power amplifier designed to deliver consistent energy, even under demanding loads. Its dual-mono topology ensures full channel separation and independent power supply per channel. It outputs 200 watts into 8 ohms, 400 watts into 4 ohms, and up to 600 watts in mono mode. The MDCA amplification architecture reduces distortion without relying on global feedback, delivering a stable response and dynamic consistency at any level. A high damping factor ensures authoritative control over complex speaker loads while preserving soundstage integrity.

Architecture & Power Supply
The 761 houses two custom low-noise 700 VA toroidal transformers and over 150,000 µF of power supply capacitance. This setup ensures fast, stable energy delivery during musical peaks. Side-mounted heatsinks maintain thermal stability, while the internal layout minimizes interference and preserves signal fidelity. With 31 dB gain, low output impedance, and extended bandwidth, the design prioritizes transparency and long-term consistency.

Integration & Use
Engineered to integrate seamlessly into high-end systems, the MOON 761 provides balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, as well as a stereo/mono switch. Power consumption is reduced to 1.25 W in standby, with a full-power idle mode for instant responsiveness. Integration with MOON preamplifiers like the 791 is streamlined via MOONLink. The aluminium chassis, shielded circuits, and internal protections ensure long-term reliability for intensive daily use.
