Description

Absolute Control
The MOON 891 combines a network player, DAC, and reference-level analog preamplifier in one chassis. It allows full control of the audio chain — from the digital source to the power stage. The M-VOL3 analog volume control ensures absolute precision and silence, even at very low levels. Each stage is independently powered in an optimized dual-mono layout. The entire architecture is built for users who want to shape, preserve, and refine their sound balance over time, with consistency and control.

Processing & Conversion
Inside the 891 is the MDE2 digital engine, built for transparent conversion. It handles PCM up to 384 kHz and DSD up to 22.6 MHz (DSD512) via USB audio input. The MiND 2 platform supports streaming with Roon Ready, AirPlay, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and more. All modules — analog, digital, volume — are physically and electrically isolated for maximum clarity and stability. The result is a fluid, balanced, and faithful playback experience across all formats and sources.

Integration & Interface
The MOON 891 features a 4.3″ color display, full digital input array (USB, AES/EBU, HDMI ARC, optical, coaxial), five analog inputs (RCA/XLR), and variable outputs in RCA and XLR. It acts as a control center for hybrid analog/digital systems. The BRM-1 remote is included, and MOONLink provides seamless coordination with other North Collection components. Jacket artwork, navigation flow, and interface logic are all designed for real use — intuitive, responsive, and durable.
